Just got the Ultimate driver and passenger seats. $550 delivered and worth every penny. As I posted before, the incredibly painful experience with the original seat, motivated me to give the Trike a real try and ordered up the Ultimate. Realizing it's just my opinion, I would highly recommend one.

As I have an Ultimate seat on my RoadStar and would highly recommend it.
What model trike is yours??
I have the stock seat on my GL1800 trike and the quote given for that model is a lot higher.
What did you get??
The seat and passenger pillon?? Not the backrest too??

You will love that seat. They do have a breakin period. Gets better with every ride.

I have a 2005 VTX1300 Champion. I consider this my Tester Trike. I did not want to jump into a 40K trike only to find the experience.....unfulfilling. Found this in my area for a Very affordable price with only 4500 miles. Didn't want to throw a lot into it. If it works out we shall then move on to a Big Boy Trike.

That said, I did buy the Big Boy seat and matching pillion. It was impossible to take a ride of over 100 miles without real pain. So to be sure we added the seat. I may add the backrest later....but like I said, it's a test bike.

That's the same setup I have on my RoadStar. I couldn't ride it without it. A very good and comfortable setup indeed.
The seat for the GL1800 is a heck of a lot more for my model and Im very hesitant to spend the money.

I put the Ultimate Mid Rider seat and also the passenger backrest on my trike a month after I bought it.
Did not like the stock seat.
With the Ultimate, we can ride 600 mile days in comfort.

I've never understood the criticism with the Wing stock seat. When I owned Harleys I would always need to buy a Mustang for my Ultra because those stock seats are a problem, but the Wing seat is so big and well cushioned that I'm always surprised when folks say that have trouble sitting on it for long periods. Is it just that the stock seat is too cushioned?
