trunk won't latch

Just started again trunk lid iwll not latch, can't seem to figure out why?? Any adjustments or ??? How to I correct this?? 2009 Goldwing.

Ron, try cleaning and relubing the latch first. That is what I do when mine acts up on our CSC trike.

If that don't work post in CSC's thread and I am sure they will get back to you to help you decide if it needs adjusted.

Top trunk, Bottom trunk ????? You still have a CSC ??? Or something else. ..........:Shrug:

Be sure that the 2 strikers on the lid are tight, and that the hinge bolts are all there and tight. The latch mechanism is designed to be clean and free of any lubed/oil. Such stuff only attracts dust and dirt that will eventually cause problems.

Do you have any aftermarket add-ons that have been added to the lid, such as a handle, luggage rack, inner lid organizer, spoiler, etc that maybe causing an alignment problem or distortion of the lid ??? Does yours have an OEM seat ???
