Trunk Lockset Question.

The push button on the trunk lockset doesn't bounce back when I push it in to open the trunk door. Anyone have/had this problem? How did you fix it? 2015 tri glide.

Ya I hate when that happens ! Try a little 3 in 1 oil around the knob and work it. Hopefully it’ll pop out. If not then the inside cover has to get removed to get at it. Good luck.

I periodically use TriFlow on my lock. It has worked well so far. 2010 TriGlide

Yep, needs oil. Also, I notice, the colder it gets, the stickier it's gets. During winter, I just use my key to pop it back out.

I lube my lock button regularly any time it even starts to feel stiff. Triflow is good stuff and my bottle has a very fine tube so it is easy to put a drop on it. 33K and no lock problems.

A small drop of machine oil like 3 in 1 works wonders.
