I had originally scheduled this ride for New Years Day, but the weather did not cooperate so it was rescheduled for yesterday, Jan 5, 2013. There are a couple of trikes in this series of photos so I guess it qualifies to be posted here. Mine is the black trike (you know, the one with three wheels)
It was just about 39 degrees when we started a mite chilly, but stalwarts none the less. I probably should not mention that I was wearing a heated vest, shoe insoles and gloves plus thick chaps around the lower parts.
I am the first officer of the Chisholm Trail Riding Club Chapter 82 SCRC. In one of the photos I am presenting the chapter patch to two of our newer members.
The Oscar Store is about 30 miles from our meeting place, but the way we ride it was at least 75 miles. By the time we got to the store the temps were a blazing 48 degrees. After lunch and during the ride home 55 miles this time, it has soared to 54 degrees. A great time and fellowship on two and three wheels.
