New here from Texas just got a trike 2016 triglide checking see if anyone having problems with hot light staying on also have a street glide and soft tail just trying to learn how to use this post thanks

Hi Lonnie, :welcome:to Trike Talk

H D has a new and improved coolant pump if yours has not been replaced yet

You can test the operation of the pump and radiator fans here

Turn run switch to run (do not start bike)

Roll throttle to WOT position and hold until fans run, then roll back throttle to idle (takes a couple seconds for fans to come on after holding to WOT)

Both fans will run as well as water pump

To stop test, turn run switch to off

Had that on my 16 & it was the water pump. Replaced under warranty. WELCOME to TT :wave4::wave4:

Hi Lonnie, welcome to the forums, Jack is correct, also on my '15 Tri I had to replace the water pump, the light stayed on.
