New CSC Indian Trike Owner

Hello, I joined a while back but am only just now getting ready to take delivery of my new CSC trike conversion.

I'm only 63 and have been riding for about 27 years, HD and Indian. I suffered a pretty significant health setback about a year and a half ago and am just getting my strength back these past couple of months. I didn't feel comfortable having my wife with me, so I decided that to ride together, I would do a trike. Still have my 2017 Deluxe, which I can still handle.

Hopefully I will pick up my trike next week. Here are a couple of pix. Glad to be here.

I like the colors & the lay out of the two tones. What year is it? I have a 21 CSC Roadmaster.

It started life as a '21 vintage dark horse. I had it painted like the '37 Indian fours and big chief. Decided to carry that theme over to the trike. Paint colors are slightly different than modern Indian red and cream. They are the modern version of the old colors.

The fender skirts are removable to facilitate tire removal.

I really like it. I have done quite a bit of upgrades on the Indian & the CSC kit. when I get around to it, I have to wash it, and I will post pictures. I did an overhaul over the winter, repainted it one solid color, I had made a 7-gallon gas tank, did a lot to lower the engine heat, I was going to trade it for a Challenger trike, water cooled, glad I did not do that. I bought a two-wheel Challenger I might trike that some day ?

Dumb question... if a rear tire needs removed, what is done with the fender skirts?

When they first made them, You had to remove the body, that would suck out in the middle of nowhere .

Wow, interesting mods. I'll be on the lookout for your pics. On mine, I installed indian stage 3 cams and custom tune. Should perform well with the trike.
