Trike to be

We are Patrick and Sandi (Pandy) Lewis of Ladson SC. We normally ride Maxiscooters, and a GoldWing. We are seriously considering triking a 1500 Wing or a new Burgman Executive. It's really only a matter of time and $$$. Looking forward to gleaning from this site.

I would do the Goldwing, it makes a great platform for a trike . Mine is a 1997 Goldwing with DFT ... cost wise if you went with a Champion I bet the $$ of buying a new Burgman and triking it would almost be a wash compared to triking the Wing. Power wise no comparison. Storage no comparison. JMHO of course.

:wave4: Welcome to Trike Talk Pandy! Trike your Wing, you'll never regret it. In fact, after you do it and you've ridden 400-500 miles, you'll wonder why you didn't do it long ago. Trike Talk forum is the place to learn and get answers to any questions you might have about trikes.

I am in Summerville, and ride with Crossroads Motorcycle Ministry. I have a 1996 GL 1500 Road Smith Trike, just build by UNB Customs. I love it.

I would be willing to let you come by and take a look and maybe a short test ride in case you have never been on one. (As long as I get to ride your scooter hint hint).:innocent:

Send me a PM and i will call you.

This site has tons of information and was a great help to me as I made my decisions. There are also several great builders on here as well.
