Trike Talk Texas Hill Country Reunion 2018 in Kerrville Texas will be Thursday October 4th through Saturday October 6th departing on Sunday October the 7th. The host hotel will once again be the Super 8. Marge is building a registration page and will have the link up shortly.

We hated that we missed last year due to my son getting married, but Marge & I will be there with bells on this year.

Will post the info on the rates as soon as they call me back to confirm that the owner OKs it. Hope to get same rates as last year, we got a very good deal.

Updated 02-15-18:

Well gals and guys, I never got a call back from Roger the GM at Super 8 and Im not real happy about that and let them know it. I was not ugly about it, just expressed my disappointment that he never called me back as promised...he has always been courteous and communicative in the past, but given that the rate has been bumped, he probably didn't want to be the one to break the news and deal with the feedback.

Tammy promised me that he will call me so we will see. She tells me that Roger says that the best rate the property owners would let him give our group this year is $79 for Thursday, $99 for Friday and $99 for Saturday.

I'm not sure what happened since last year, but in the 11 years I have been booking rooms for our TT gatherings, I have never seen a $30 per night increase from one year to the next on a group like ours who has been a returning customer for several years running.

So, unless something changes, it looks that is the rate. I checked other properties and they are all noticably higher this year, so the price is trending up. I looks as if more folks are discovering Kerrville as a destination and the demand for rooms is on the rise. As of right now, we have 25 rooms left in our block. I asked Tammy to reserve as many as possible on the ground floor, rear section where our rides start and she agreed to do that.

The phone number is 830-896-1511 and our contact is Tammy. Be sure and mention that you are with the Trike Talk group and that they quoted us $79 for Thursday rather than $99.

Confirmed the Kerville Dates with our partners, and Terracraft is officially scheduling this event in for October. We will come cruz the roads and meet new friends on the journey! We will bring at least 2 Terracrafts, and possibly a current customer build based from a K1600GT BMW, as long as our client gives us a thumbs up, or will be able make it in from Virginia Beach? See Y'all There!

Also, the TerraCraft crew will be joining us and Bryan says we will have free beer and TerraCraft trike races daily so you won't want to miss that. ;)

Is everyone one OK with adding an extra day? It used to be just Friday and Saturday, departing Sunday morning, but last year I was able to get such a good deal that it was the same cost or less than just Friday and Saturday was in prior years so I figured adding an extra day might be something we wanted to do. Keep in mind, no one has to go all three days, but I think quite a few wanted to and if we get the same deal as last year, it is cheaper to ask for it in advance than pay more without asking, for those who want the extra day. Feedback?

We showed up a day early anyway. Farther to ride than most . Will do same again. We came in on Thurs. So yes for us. There is a possibility of another coming with us.

I think most of us will gladly do the extra day Randy. As you said - nobody has to.... :D :D

The extra day is great. We came in last year on Thursday and that gave us all day Friday as well as Saturday to ride around the Hill Country. Works for us!

(Yes) Sounds good.

I need to get here early before all of the beer and Black Forest Cheesecake is GONE.
