Thanks Leo, we are taking some of those roads in our adventures, from north to south..east to west! LOL
But, to take a lot of them, you would have to spend a great deal of time in NH & Maine, which we don't have!

No Red this trip as he wants to go to Maggie Valley with me and then to Va for a Sea Bee get together a week later. If all goes as planned, Jerry and I will ride the Blue Ridge with Red after Maggie Valley but not his Sea Bee meeting. Phil should be there the time I get there. Haven't heard of anyone else yet.

I'm also going to Maggie Valley. It will be my first time there. On the way down I'm going to Greer SC to visit classmate...then back up to MV on Monday.

TrikerMary, I tried to respond to your message but it tells me that your mailbox is full, so plans have not changed we will leave on Sunday the 14th at 8am. Plan to have breakfast at 7am at the Starlite Diner. It will be a long day depending on traffic and construction. For planning porposes who will be in Dover to go out to dinner, by 5 PM on Sunday?
Thats the only iffy, I got.
Don't forget your Free Day, Thursday to plan an activity, if you want to go whale watching, ocean cruise, kayaking, or shopping at the tax free NH malls, or in Kittery, ME, but they have a sale tax.
If not, I haven't planned a ride or dinner, but for those who want, we can do a local country side ride, & find a place to eat. Just let me know if you are planning a country ride.
I will write a schedule of events as soon as I get all the dinner Restruants set.
Dont forget, if you have any questions, please..please ask me now, so I may get an answer back to you. No question is a dumb question! LOL

Well, Tuesday is Dover-Portsmouth Day with dinner a walk away from where you will be staying. I believe 5PM is the schedule time at The Farm over looking the Cochecco River in Dover.
So, nice refreshment, good company, good food, good scenery, what more could you ask for!
See you when you get in, if not then, there are many places to eat if you come in a little later in Dover. Park the iron horse and meander around till you see a menu you like, then sit and enjoy!

My son got scuba certified there also. We used to go a lot to watch other scuba divers and watch people get certified, or not. Saw one girl shoot out of the water without any equipment, apparently she panicked when she had to remove her equipment and put it back on.
Had a friend going along the "kelp highway", took a right turn and met face to face with a seal. Panick for a second!LOL

Cancellation

We are so very sorry, but it looks like we'll have to cancel this year's gathering. Rosy has a medical emergency, and I can't be away from home during the week.

Please be sure to call the hotel to cancel your reservations. If you don't give them at least 24 hours notice, you will be charged one night.

Just as an FYI - if you still want to make the trek to New Hampshire during those dates, the hotel has stated that they will honor the group rate. You just need to call and confirm with them that you still plan to use the room you reserved.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Again, we are very sorry about this!!
