I had the Trike out for a ride today. Upper 60's today, but a little windy. Wife said want to get the Trike out,and that's all it took. We were only out about a hour.It was nice to get out for a ride.

We've had some beautiful weather here in Texas lately. Two weeks ago, the wife & I awoke on a Tuesday morn, decided to go on a ride. We always throw a small bag each in the trunk, in case..:cxtv:

We started out around noon, just keeping the wind to our backs, riding back roads mostly on a northern heading. Found ourselves in Snyder shortly after dark, so stayed there. The next morn, since we were so close to my Dad's place near Lubbock, we headed there and spent the day visiting and eating some good Tex-Mex. Early Thursday found us headed to Aspermont, Rotan, & Abilene visiting folks, eating for free & having fun.

A cool front was coming in on Sunday, so we left early for home, getting back around 4pm. Best week we've spent in a while. Did near 1400 miles.

And, talking to Jr (TrailBlazer) we're trying to get together in the next few weeks to do the entire Natchez Trace Pkwy. Then TT/TOI gatherings during the summer... I for-see a lot of riding fun.

Damn, this retirement biz is work.....
