Two years ago I bought a white '89 Goldwing Trike and called it my "White Cloud". Last year it was a total write off due to excessive floodwaters here in Thailand - it was under two metres of toxic water for three months - and because it is impossible to get a trike conversion here, I bought a secondhand '92 Goldwing and shipped everything from it onto the old chassis. The replacement machine was black, so we called it "Dark Shadow"! Second thoughts - should have called it "The Phoenix"!

My original trike, a Suzuki C-50T was Suzi. My current ride is a Suzuki C90T. Her name is Dottie. Named for my mom. A distinctive, good looking class act, strong enough to take me safely anywhere I want to go.

After a bit of pondering regarding what name my (new to me) trike will be called, I settled on a name that not only portrays the music I love, but it also has a kind of link to what trikes are for.

I'm calling her, "Runaround Sue". ThumbUp

I absolutely love 50s & early 60s music to the point that its the only music I listen to. And the 'Runaround' part is exactly what we (I) do with the trike, lol. When I can find a good source for air brushing, I plan to have a couple of scenes painted on the back with a Jukebox, a couple dancing, Rock-N-Roll 4 Ever, and of course, 'Runarond Sue' across the top of the trunk. :10:

I have decded to change names for my trike. When I first bought her in November of "11" I was in a hurry to have a name for her, so I came up with Ol Blue. Sure enough, she was Blue. After riding MANY,MANY miles, listening to my favorite BLUES tunes on CD, I realized her name is " Pride N Joy", and I'm her little lover boy....So be it !!!

The wife picked the name for two reasons.
1) the trike is Black with Ghost Flames
2) my wife doesn't ride with me but does in spirit - she is my Ghost Rider

The custom plate will be GHOSTR

Thought I had posted here a year ago, but just went through all 15 pages and I am not there. We just call her "The Wing". Too old for imagination I guess. lol

We mostly use "mine" or "yours" and whoever say's it, it's appropriate. We recently put in for personalized plates but with few "good" or "clever" choices left we setteled for HISGW and HERGW.
