trike kits

most trike kits come from a Honda Harley Yamaha Kawasaki dealer. when you need parts or accessories you must go to your dealer. trike kits are a specialty to a dealer. ninety five percent of your dealers sell motorcycles not trikes.to this day there is not a parts catalog that you can purchase beside jp cycles. this is what I am talking about. for gentlemen that was talking about brake pads. your pad are ford or chevrolet. same as your wheels. I hope we all understand.

Fuller,

You are quite mistaken and a "might confused" :xzqxz:

For one, you CANNOT judge what Brake Pads a Trike requires by the Wheels/Rims...

and,,, J&P Cycles does NOT have a "Parts Catalog" for Trikes.

Contact your specific Trike's Manufacturer or consult the Owner's Booklet or their website for Part types, Sources, and Application. Your "better" Dealers/Installers will know as well.

Some Trike conversions use more proprietary (Manufacturer produced) parts than others. But, components such as Brake Pads are all Automotive or MC so can be purchased locally or from a myriad of online Automotive Parts sources.

Looking at your past posts, you say you have an MT on an 06 FLHTCU. Call Motor Trike and get CORRECT information and direction from them.

Misinformation is worse than NO information.

Do not agree. There are a lot more independent installers than there are dealerships that install trike kits.

when you need parts or accessories you must go to your dealer.

If you're talking about the bike parts, there is a multitude of Accessory Companies, many of which also market OEM parts. If you mean items for the trike part, each trike conversion manufacturer lists accessories on their web sight. "Parts" can be ordered/purchased from that brands installer.

Doesn't that contradict your first statement?

Could you post a link to the trike parts section of JP cycles please

Do not agree! Take a look at the size of calipers caliphers on a "typical" Chev or Ford. Calipers/pads used on trike conversions has absolutely nothing to do w/what cars the wheels may fit!

I hope we all understand.

Hope this helped you.
