Airbag with motor trike kits

New to forum and trikes. Test rode 3 IRS Goldwings Saturday. CSC, Roadsmith and a Motor Trike with airbags. All 3 rode great. Being a newbie the wife and I could not really tell much difference in ride with any of them.

Been researching all I can on the kits and my only question is are the air bag leakage problems I read about with motor trike much of a problem? Should I shy away from one that is on a 2010 GW I test rode Saturday?

Brian I think we see more reports of air bags being replaced on older Motor Trike conversions for that exact reason. Simply, they have been around many years.

My previous trike was a '06 GL1800 with '10 Motor Trike Adventure conversion. When I sold it and bought my 2015 that conversion had nearly 50,000 miles on it with absolutely no air bag problems. In short, I do not believe there is any trend.

If you find a Motor Trike IRS you like don't let the air bag keep you from buying. :xszpv::xszpv:

Trike is at Neihaus in Litchfield IL. Great group to talk with. They build and service trikes. I'm guessing since its a 2010 GW then the conversion would be an adventure or razor. Only has 5200 miles. $24995
