Trike kit installation

My friend and I are installing a Champion trike kit on his GL1500 and we are photo documenting the installation. Any tips are appreciated.<br />

I agree. We're gonna take lots of pictures of the actual installation so others will have a good understanding of what's involved. So far it's been fun. I get to build a trike and someone else pays for it. :yes:

Well so far the install has went well! 4 hours last night and we have the brakes modifications done, swing arm installed, mounting brackets installed, driveshaft installed, and the rear end hung! Withe the exception of the hole in the inner fender not being mentioned in the instructions, it has been a breeze!. I think we should do the GL1800 next!:10:

Outstanding job John! Over the past several months I have had the pleasure of tearing down and re-installing my American Trike kit on my 08 gold Wing due to a poor installation done by the now out-of-business Daytona Bike and Trike. I now have a pretty good knowledge of what the install entails and you did a super job documenting that process. Thanks and I bookmarked it for future reference. By the way, in addition to having a poor installer I had to have a new wheel drive axle made by an axle machining house because the owner of American Trike was very uncooperative in providing assistance to me. Apparently, he has a some legal problems with the installer and took it out on me. Thank again, John. I'm sure many of our members will appreciate your valued effort.<br />
