Is there a trike kit available for a 1980 GL1100 Interstate? As I am not exactly Tim the Toolman, I would need to have the bike triked by someone who knows which end of a wrench does what. Don't know if I will do it for sure yet, just exploring whats out there.

Hi better think and make sure you want to spend that kinda money on a older wing --the power loss is great and it will suck alot of gas out of that 1100 --i would never trike anything smaller than a 1500 unless you just cruse around town --

Don't need to worry about triking the 1100 anymore. I sold it because I didn't ride it anymore. The 1800 really spoiled me. I hated to see it sit and not get run. That is harder on the bike than taking it out and running the heck out of it on a daily basis.

Good choice . i was talked out of doing it buy a dealer . He said you are going to put $7,000 into a bike worth $3,000 and never get your money out of it .PS I have seen one in black and it is a very cool looking bike. a friend has a 1200 for sale and it is a good looking one also . more motor showing than the 1500 or 1800.
