Trike Front Tire

I have a 2009 HD TriGlide Trike. Front tire loses pressure occasionally. Put it up to 36 then next time could show no reading at all, but tire is still hard as a rock and rides fine. How can no pressure show and the tire not be flat or at least soft? Please give me some insight. Thanks! Chazman

Are you using balancing beads? Perhaps one is stuck in the valve stem?

Could it be a defective stem valve ?

Believe me if your tire had no pressure, You couldn't drive ten feet...
Something else going on...
