I have had the fender bras on my red Tri-Glide for a year or so. I took them off and my fenders are scuffed up. Is there some way I can polish them out. I have used the scratch removed from Harley, didn't help. Thank you

The real question is did the scratches go deeper than the clear coat. If only in the clear coat you have a chance. If below then it's a question of meditating or repainting.

I had them on my 2016 trike. At first I was pretty good about slipping them off every month or so and cleaning/waxing under them. Even doing that, just prior to trading I had marks on the fenders from them. My marks were through the clearcoat, and I never could get them completely out. On my current 2019 trike I never put them on so I have nice rock chips instead of marks from the bras. I honestly think the only way to protect these fenders is to keep the darn thing in the garage.

I had thoughts about putting them on my 19 tri glide. And I heard about the marks they may well leave and I decided not to. Apparently they were right.

I do like my trike to look as good as possible, but after cleaning and polishing I just put them back on, cover up the scuffs and ride it. I prefer hidden scuffs over visible chips and nicks.

I could not make up my mind on these, now I have some chips on my fenders, too late now, the good news is the chips are not big ones, I also think the Cerakote paint sealant has helped to minimise the damage
