Was at a local dealership today.

Their #1 selling bike is still the Street Glide, but they are selling more Tri-Glides than any other model besides the SG. ThumbUp

That's the way it is out here in the west. I don't know if they are a top seller but what I do know is there aren't many 2014 trikes around my parts. I'm told by several dealers in my area they will have trikes at the end of the month.

The dealer we got ours from told us he sold about one a month last year. In September and October he has either sold or taken deposits on 5.

Yeah, I was sort of surprised myself...but this particular dealer had 2014 TG's on their floor 2 weeks before the other dealer in town did...and the other Dealer is a Rossmeyer dealership....that really surprised me.

Plus, they are selling used TG's too, that have been traded in for 14's.

edited to add-

I asked if they had had any 14's in for puking coolant...they said they have had a few...all were fixed by getting the air out of the system...and some needed different caps too.

I was over by a local dealer to get the shop service manual for my 2013 Anny and was chatting that I hadn't set eyes on a 2014 yet. They said they had one in the service area I could look at but they have a waiting list for every one that comes in regardless of color. Reminds me back in '94 when I bought my bagger and had to wait 11 months to get it.

My niece works at a dealership and she told me that when they get any trike in, new or used, it sells right away. She said not that many people come in and order them compared to other models, but when they get one in, it's gone within a couple of days.

Was at my local Dealership yesterday. They had one 2014 in that was sold and a 2013 on the floor vivid black. In the used department one 2010 streetglide trike and a 2012 tri-glide both nice.

I'm curious what you guys are seeing for "SET UP" charges? Two weeks ago I had to drive from Akron , Oh to Asheville, NC and I always stop at the dealer in Parkersburg, WV and Wytheville, Va and Bristol, Va.
I noted one dealer had a new trike on floor for msrp and the usual listed freight of $857ish, but SET UP was $1,850 !!!!!
I told the salesman that was a bit of crooked way to get above msrp. He said "Hell, the dealer I used to work for charged $2,500" !!
I looked at some other bikes on the floor and the set up price was on a scale with the price of the bike. Sportsters being the cheapest but still way more than anything near me!
