Tri Glide Trunk Lock.

Went to open the trunk on my 2018 Tri Glide Ultra recently and the lock assembly came out with the key? Looking at my Parts book, I can see there is a U shaped clip that holds the lock in place. So I ordered not only the clip, but the O ring and foam washer as there was no evidence of either! Parts are ready to collect but I am hoping a forum member can provide guidance on how to replace the lock and clip please! I have the inner cover removed (2 countersunk allen bolts) but and at a loss as to what next. For some reason, my download Harley service manual isn't showing the diagrams any more! It never rains, but it pours!!!

After dealing with these trunk locks for eight years it is one of the things I check and perform preventive maintenance on every other oil change. I check for tightness then lube with Harley lube syringe. They are definitely prone to failure.
