Tri-Glide Audio

I am thinking about upgrading my 2012 Tri-Glide's speakers and adding the fairing lower speakers. I have looked at some of the different set-ups but want to get some input before buying. Suggestions/help would be great. My street glide had a set of hogtunes speakers and they sounded good but I want to go beyond just a set of speakers.

Roadrage, it will be interesting to read the responses. Can't help you with the lower fairing speakers. Got Hog Trough cupholders down there on both sides.

I hate subjecting others to my terrible taste in music. Soooo, I added a bluetooth transmitter to my radio, and a SENA bluetooth headset to my helmet. The base plate I bought has a standard miniature stereo jack. Instead of the crappy helmet speakers that come with this type of unit I bought a set of Sony Professional Studio Headphones. Removed the head gear and velcro'd the ear pieces into the ear reliefs on the helmet. (California helmet law, gotta wear one anyway) Now I have INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH music that I can play as loud as I want, usually until my eyes bleed, and not bother a soul. AND, no wires! A couple of pictures are worth a thousand words. If you don't mind wires, the adapter is about 30 bucks, the headphones around a hundred and you can plug them in. With headphones or ear buds you can listen to Frankie Yandavitch and the Polka Bandits and no one will laugh at you:laugh::laugh:

One of my favorite albums..... now you know why the earphones!!

Exuma - Exuma, the Obeah Man (from Exuma) - YouTube

Good Luck

Getting laughed at for polka music???
I played a polka CD about 7-8 years ago and that's all anyone remembers. One time and you're branded for life. LOL
I would never wear earbuds - I want to share my music with everyone. Sometimes they like it (Hank Williams Jr, Toby Keith, Beach Boys) or hate it (ABBA, Al Caiola, Irish drinking songs).

I've always had Hog Tume speakers and never really wanted or needed the amp. Well last year I decided to get the amp also and the lower woofers - 6 speakers total. What else am I going to spend my SS check on?
Now, I have too much volume (don't let anybody in my chapter hear me say that). I didn't think I'd ever say such a thing. :D

If I could do it over again I would just go back to the speakers only and save a ton of money.

My money is on HogTunes - Pez will give you a great deal. I don't know if he's on this forum, but he is on Harley Tech Talk forum and gives a great HTT discount.

I started out with Harleys amp and J&M speakers to power the fairing and tourpack speakers. Now I have the Harley amp powering the rear tourpack speakers only and installed a ARC amp and 6 1/2" speakers in the fairing. Cruising the interstate I can hear the music clearly with or without a helmet

Exuma! Thank goodness a TG has 3 wheels, I couldn't set still with music like that. People would think I had some kind of nervous twitch while riding or simply possessed!
