trailer wiring harness

Had to trike (Motor Trike kit) my 2008 GL1800 due to multiple knee issues. Now I need to install a witing harness for my trailer. I have the Kuryakyn harnesses (including the 5 pin to 4 pin for the trailer itself.) Has anyone seen an explicit "how-to" write up for doing this, including routing suggestions to get thru the trike conversion? I was going to have a local motorcycle shop do it, but they told me some of the connections work directly with the plug-in harness, but some connections have to be made directly to specific wires, so I lost some confidence with them. Anyone ever seen an article on this wiring? Thanks

There is all sorts of install instructions. Unfortunately none of them are gonna be MT conversion specific. You'll have to wing it a bit there.... :Coffee: :Coffee:

Depending on your installer the connectors you need to plug into could be a real bear to locate. I had my installer locate them up under the seat so I could find them then I did what I wanted after that.
