Obviously I suck at searching here.

I have a simple to me anyway question here.
While my dash does indeed have the TPS light come on when starting the bike.
I also know that Motor Trike does not connect it to the rear wheels if it is there generally.

My question is this.
Do I have it on a 2010 standard Wing??
If so, I just for the fun of it.
Deflated my front tire and Nada nothing zilch from the idjit light.
Question 2.
If MT doesn't connect it up at the rear.
Would that disable the front too if it was there???

Sorry for the dummie beginners questions but I gots to know these things.

ZOOK where did you get this Snoopy Christmas GIF??
I love it.
Blowing up the lights particularly.

I think the 10 came with TPS which was disabled when your bike grew the 3rd wheel, I know Hannigan disabled mine when they triked it. Once the rear tire is gone it would be having a fit if you didn't disable it and I don't think the stock system has the ability to handle a 3rd sensor.

Seems reasonable.
Since my knowledge of these new fangled contraptions is why my car is 17 years old.
Even if you don't want the technology.
Your stuck with it anyway.
The Wing has more electronics then my car does and its going to stay that way if I can help it.

I hear you, I'm looking to keep my Wing trouble free and simple.

This only relates to your question peripherally but could be important for those of us who do not check their tire pressure before every ride. Of which I am one - I'm old and creaky and don't relish the thought of getting down on my knees.

Google the "Ride-On LED Smart Cap", a tire pressure monitoring valve cap for motorcycles. It self-calibrates for the pressure you want and if that pressure drops 4# or more, the flashing red LED will alert you. I've had it for three years (first as a two-wheeler and now as a trike) and it has alerted me twice. Of course I then checked the tread all the way around for punctures. There weren't any, just pressure loss that I would not otherwise have noticed. I previously had an electronic TP system and I much prefer this!

Wish I had invented this! When one finds a really worthwhile product, it's hard not to mention it.

Seems like a worthwhile investment.
I will look into them.
Ive seen it a time or 2 someplace already or something similar.
I check my tires every week, out of habit.
But it would be nice if the TPS was/did work.
Might call Richard at MT and ask a question or 2 in the new year.

The 2010 Goldwing does have TPS and because it's a trike does not mean that it needs to be disabled. Mine works just fine but of course the front tire only. Some installers disable it completely for some reason.

I will look into it next time Im in for whatever pops up next at Honda and have it looked at.
I don't feel as if I need it but if its there and just disconnected.
Id just as soon have it reconnected.
One would be better then none.
Maybe all can be made to work without taking out another mortgage.:)

I'm so used to having to check TP on the Harley's I've always owned that I still do it on the Wing. When mine was still 2 wheels I had a couple false low pressure warnings from the system, both times the pressure was right where it should be. The 2012 rental I road for a couple days did the same thing.
