Howdy! Does anyone make an adjustable Tour-Pak Re-locater kit for a 2013 Tri-Glide? I thought Kuryakyn had one but my dealer said it won't work on the Tri- Glide.
Any help would be appreciated!!
I'm also going to try and contact Kuryakyn and see what they have to say if they'll get back to me.
Thanks much!
Greg

Try "eGlide Goodies" and DK Custom Products! As far as I know, there is not one that will adjust manually, but I have one on my 2013 TriGlide that will allow you to relocate the Tour Pack further back on a permanent basis - i.e. 1 - 3 inches as I recall. The Kuryakyn one that you can slide back and forth with a cam lock (had one on my 2008 Ultra) will not work on the TriGlide due to clearance issues.

I used a kit from tglidestuff dot com to move mine (2014) back and level it out.
It required a filler to fill the gap. I had an upholstery shop make a 3" longer flap.

Not adjustable .... nobody makes one that is adjustable on the fly.

i just drilled 4 new holes in the plate and it moved the tour pack back 2 inches.......had a shop make a filler piece to fill the gap.......easy peasy

Relocator

I put a kuryakin relocator kit on my '12. It was ordered through Metro Harley in Cedar Rapids, Ia. , and you can find it in J.P. Cycle catalog. Once in place it is not adjustable. It rigidly located the tour pack to rear 1, 2, or 3 inches. The only problem I encountered was when I moved it to the rear the lead for the am/fm was too short. I was pissed when I saw what it was comprised of for the cost. You can to the exact same thing with some 1" square aluminum tubing and a drill for substantially less than what it cost to buy it. It works well and it does what it's supposed to do, but holy cow the price is ridiculous for what you get.

The kurayken will work if you put 3/4" spacers in between the bracket and the kit. I saw it on a trike last week and he said it actually works better because you now can clean under the tourpak because of spacing.

I did install the non-adjustable Kurayken relocater kit and moved the tourpak back 2 inches. What a difference it makes! Probably should have gone back 3 inches but for some reason I thought that might be too much and look a little weird but the more I think about it I just might do that over the winter.
Harley should make an adjustable one for the Tri-Glide that's easy to use b/c like I said it really makes a huge difference!!

Part Number

Can you send the part number for the relocate kit?
Thanks

We also offer Tour Pak Relocation kits for Harley Touring & Trike models. There are other kits that place the tour pak up higher on the rack, moving the center of gravity also higher. They also are quite visible and cost considerably more. If you are looking for a kit with "Bling", or something that is overly complicated, this is probably not the kit for you. Our relocation kit is amazingly simple in design and once installed, it is not visible. Our kit is made of stainless steel, not chrome. It simply relocates the tour pak back for better passenger comfort. It gets the job done and the only person who will know it is there is your passenger.
