Torque Wrench for Travel

With the horror stories of TG rear wheels coming off and causing fatal accidents I make sure mine are torqued to 100lbs before each trip we take. However some of our trips run into thousands of miles over many days. I'm thinking it might be wise to carry a torque wrench and check the rear wheels at a thousand miles or even at the end of each day just to be on the safe side.
I have a torque wrench in my garage that I use but it's too big to try and take along (probably wouldn't fit in the trunk anyway).
I've been searching for a smaller one that is travel friendly. Everyone says their wrench is the "best" but you really don't know.

Anyone out there in Trike Talk Land carry a "portable" travel type wrench that will work the the TG's rear wheels?
Would appreciate any information you can toss my way.

Thanks!!

I do periodic checks all the time when I'm home, never found a problem but I check them all the time. I don't carry it torque wrench on the road just a power handle and a socket. If one should happen to come loose I would just tighten that some bitch up.

What about picking up one from Harbor Freight? Even if it doesn't torque the wheels precisely 100ftlbs, the main idea is to get all the lug nuts torqued to the same spec all around and the Harbor Freight one could handle that. I believe they are Pittsburg brand.

With a white board marker make witness mark's on the lug nuts and wheel. You'll see at a glance if they're coming loose.
