Tokyo trikes

This is the 1st time I've heard of anyone actually being cited for illegal lighting!!! Although those blue lights in a Ring of Fire are illegal, I would find it very hard to cite anyone as I believe one could easily tell they are not on an emergency vehicle:Shrug:
I have more concerns with improperly aimed or illegal headlamps that blind oncoming drivers than obvious decorative lighting!
Having said that, one with all the lights as some of those in the video might cause enough concern to get a warning to keep them turned off while moving!!!!

I have quite a few accent lights on my trike and my VTX, I tend to run green or purple and avoid blue and red although red doesn't tend to bother the police that much but I'd rather not take the chance.:D

I have several lights on my trike and hope to add some more. I don't ride that much at night but I do when we are out on trips like going out to eat at night. I haven't been stopped for my lights but I might just be lucky:clapping:. All of my lights are on a seperate switch so if I did get pulled over I can at least turn then off if needed:(.

I was down at Ocean City (MD) Bike Fest last September and the cops were stopping and ticketing anybody with blue or red accent lights. I must seen at least 50 bikes pulled over the 4 days I was there.
