I got very lucky and found out about Ghost Wheels before buying a Voyager kit! I did not want to ride a trike, but needed something to hold my bike up when stopped. I don't have any of the trike handling issues, and added 65 pounds to my bike. Even with an off-the-hook Screamin' Eagle motor, I still get 38mpg.

Don't know of any Trike handling issues? I ride my wife's Trike occasionally when I service it. I love the way it rides and handle's. I'm still riding my 2 wheeler for now, but will not hesitate to go to a Trike later. Does the ghost wheels come down automatically when you stop or do you push a button?
What happen's if you forget to put them down? I'm getting old and forgetful.
I hate to admit it, but I have laid my Road King down a couple of times due to forgetting to put the jiffystand down..![]()
The ghost wheels are pivoted wheel assemblies supported by a hydraulic ram. When I go from a stop, I flip a switch and the hydraulics release, and the wheel rides on the pavement, supporting no weight. When I stop, about when you would put your feet down, I flip the switch, and hydraulics hold bike up. What happens in an emergency? Same as a 2 wheeler; if you don't put your feet down, you go over. If you are the kind of rider that stops their 2 wheeler without putting your feet down, then ghost wheels are not for you.
