Hi:

I am looking at buying my first trike. I have many questions about trikes and am trying to do my home work. I ran across this Tilting Motor Works trike. Can any one Tell me more about them. I live in Pa. and would like to know if any dealers are on the east cost? They seam to be in the price range of the other trike kits. I have ridden a Spider and a Motor-trike Prowler. I like the Idea of not losing my Honda drive train. To me I will be spending over $30,000 and I think this is a big investment.

I am not want to buy some thing I don't enjoy. HELP!!

Not a lot been posted about them. Hopefully someone jumps in that has some experience. Check their web site to see if they have dealer information.

What up with the New Honda Neowing. I guess it is coming from Mother Honda in October 2016. Dose any one know any thing about them.

Supposedly Honda will have a world premiere at the end of Oct... And then say when/if they will actually produce it.... Could be a year latter..
Harley had one that was similar, [Penster] But they gave up on it years go

Something to check into is with any add on trike conversion some insurance company's will make you get a separate policy for the trike portion. So do your home work and good luck.

Tilting Motor Works trike kit

I really don't know much about these either but since they're built a few miles from my home I've run into them numerous times at different motorcycle events and I've spoken with them about their trike kit quite a lot.

They put put it on Goldwings and Harley's.

Its a bolt on kit that doesn't alter the original bike frame and could possibly be moved to another bike at a later date if you were to want to upgrade to a newer bike at some point.

It it has an optional hydrolics that stiffen the lean mechanism at real slow speeds so it will act like a tradional trike at stops etc.

It will lean like a two wheeled bike when ridding. They have an older test bike, a Harley Roadking I believe, that they demo and show that the floorboards have been scraped from leaning over in the turns.

I really liked the idea for my wife. Ultimately we purchased a Harley Freewheeler because of the warranty and the ability to get financing.

I still love the idea of the tilting motorcycle to ride and a trike when stopped or maneuvering in stop and go traffic or a parking lot.

Front end styling is is a little off for me too.

October news flash has the Neowing as a great three wheel hybrid with gas/electric motor. Or is it? From what they said, the suspension is better than the other front three wheel motorcycle, but they could not compare, because suspensions are difference, then why say it..Don't know!
I suspect it will lean into corners, not steer through them, like other trikes.
I would love to see the specifications on the motor and what we may expect for gas mileage. We get 30+ now, do we think into the 60s on a highway? If so, a great savings, maybe if motor is proven, we may see the Goldwing with gas/electric motor? I believe it is a four banger! If in fact it is a gas/electric motor? Need to see more articles and see what they say!
