Had a guy in the shop couple years ago had a brand new Harley said he rode to Sturgis every year and has for 50 Years he was 86 years old. said he had to take it easy now he could not make the trip at one time has to spend the night somewhere around the 650 to 700 miles. Heck if I live to be that old hope I can ride 60 or 70 miles

Ben a young 101

hay all I talk to Ben Mock on the phone thursday the 5 th , I call just to keep in touch with him, ( he does like to talk ) we talked about the days when people look down the nose a bikers, you'll remember those day. I reminded him our lunch was may 28 and told him if he had a Dr. appointment make sure it was not on the 28th.

he told me his Dr. told him not to ride his trike out of town by his self, he has hart problems and breathing problems. he all so told me he wanted to ride to California one more time before he goes. Dr. said no, Ben said he just might get up one morning and feel like going and just pack a bag and go. he is a card. he has a daughter she looks after him some. it is his youngest daughter in her 70s I told him if he wanted to bring her do it, he said he could not melt her and pour her on the trike.

I will try to meet him for a Dr. pepper ( his drink of chose ) next week. I just enjoy talking to Ben. you'll have a good day
