I have already gotten two calls from Kent Motorsports in Kyle, TX (dealer working on my trike). Dropped it off last Saturday and they have it torn down, found a few teeth missing on two gears in 3rd and some damage to 4th gear. Depending on parts "availability" in the US, could be done in another 2 weeks. "Maybe" ready in time for Mid-America ride!! But no promises from the shop.....I said the most important part is that we have it done right as I have plans for long rides this summer and fall! Who knows, you guys and gals may see me with Jan and Dot on the Mid-America run? Y'all ride safe up to Lufkin, eat a little BBQ for me and tell him I look forward to meeting him someday, as he is my hero!

All - my plans have changed, I need to stay at home tomorrow for several reasons, so I will not be going to Lufkin. Sorry....

Tom, sure hope that what came up is not the water! We've had near 14" here in the last few days, heard it was more over your way. Currently, we've got 6" standing in the yard, and the ditches are full, but hopefully all will run-off by morning.

My neighborhood has turned into a lake. We back up to the San Jacinto River fed by runoff from Lake Conroe. Had 14 inches of rain within a few hours. No water in our house so far but the street behind us has water in their homes. Power is out until Monday. Not sure I will make it tomorrow depends on the weather.

Guess we lucked out. Our two ways out got washed out several days ago and they got the culverts back in the ground and somewhat repaired now. But this last storm y'all got, we only got 2.5 inches. I might actually be able to get the bike out today. Yesterday we used the truck to get some groceries and the road was just okay. Hoping a full day of travel on it will pack it down so it is passable for a bike.
