Last weekend we went on a weekend ride with the GoldWing group. My Bride in the trike & me on my 1978 Wing.
One of the Trikers needed to stop @ the Honda shop in Escanaba MI to pick up a headset cord for his wife's helmet. Right inside was an 2002 1800. The exact color I fell in love with back in 2002 when my Bride & I took one for a test ride. Bride said we couldn't afford it. Back then.
Now 91.000 miles & 14 years later.....

Deal made, finished out the weekend on the old 78, rode it 200 miles back to Escanaba Monday, Traded it in & brought the 1800 home Tuesday.
This is my first 1800 & I'm loving it! No plan's for Triking it yet. Never know what the future holds!

Nice. I have a friend that had an 02 that same color. He had wolfs painted on the hard bags and then clear coated. He lost the bike to his wife in a divorce as well as losing everything else. She has it for sale. Jim

Wow! Transitioning from many years and smiles on a GL1000 to a GL1800 must be quite amazing! I, at least, went from GL1000 to GL1200 to GL1500 and then GL1800. You must feel like you have gotten out of a Chevy Nova and hopped into a Corvette! Beautiful and unique color. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your new ride!

Actually I did have a GL 1500 from 1995 to 2006. I found my old 1978 dead in a farmers yard in 2012 & restored it. Missed the 1100 & 1200's though. As I'm a pauper playing in a Kings world.
