has anybody actually got one of these out of Colorado ? and got miles on it?

I see threads here where they don't contact you back ..

and no where do they show prices .. $$$$$

if you did get one, what did you pay?

looks like a good design

I looked at those closely when I was in the market. At least 2K more expensive than conventional trailers that have dual axles with brakes. They also have minimal storage area. The loading is pretty cool, but never had a problem with loading in a box trailer.

They sure are cool looking, but I opted for v-nose, 14' with brakes at 4K......and as usual, just my opinion.

ya I kinda like it ..... single axle & light .. instant garage too

just can't find the asking price any where or get in touch with them .. very strange they don't list prices on their website

they just got back to me -- they run 8 to 12 grand .. depending on how equipped .....

all I need now is a owner review ? anybody here have one???

Jim says they have made 1,000's and they are getting slammed for orders for the sling shot guys ...

A couple of Stallion owner's have the open trailer and are very happy with them. I don't know about the clam shell, it has it's features!

I own one exactly like the white one in your first post and love it. I've owned pretty much every kind of open and enclosed trailer there is and this is by far my favorite. It's a breeze to load and unload, it's light and tows well and auto levels itself. Yes it costs more than the run of the mill trailers, but in my opinion, it's worth the money. PM me if you have any questions.

I'm a dummy, so I'll ask...how does it auto level?

on first glance- The way my trailer gets loaded with odds and ends I would think that opening the shell for something while on the road after everything has settled would have things falling out and make the clam shell hard to reclose?
The flat bed design doesn't really trip my trigger.

so I looked an Iron horse too ..

looks good but is out of TN

and come to find out a friend has an iron Horse that he bought in a few years ago
and he is not using it .. he paid 9 grand for it -- he's stop riding his trike ..

going to go look at it since it's local ..

Nothing wrong with an Iron Horse. They are excellent trailers, too. A friend of mine in Florida hauls his Boss Hoss trike in one and loves it.

somedays we get lucky ....a friend had bought a 2012 Iron Horse and never used it..it was stored inside from the day he bought it.
I did not know he had one..

He sold me his Iron horse trailer ... at buddy deal price ... I am totally impressed with it ..plus i saved a trip to TN to get a new one.

Iron horse really thought out the design ... only thing I may do to it is rhino line the floor in black ..

looking forward to heading to Canada in the spring.. dropping the truck and trailer in Montana and then "trike it" to Lake Louise and do some wandering throughout North West Canada ....zoom zoom

Cruzerdog:

Off topic, but we spent a couple of weeks in 06 in the area between Banff National Park, and Vancouver with our old tent trailer. You'll love it.
Hint, take good rain gear.;)

Then that's a great deal. As I had said earlier it was a very cool trailer, just too expensive for me....but at the "Buddy Deal" price....perfect! jc
