Like Rick , I too am in the sunny (but frigid today) southeast. I think I am going to try to get to the Southeast TOI rally in Maggie Valley in September. One thing I have noticed is that we as Trikers tend to accept other brands (marques?) as equals versus the typical Harley vs Goldwing crowd. If you are on three, everybody seems to be happy. There still may be some kidding in a good natured way but I know 2 wheeled Harley guys that would not wave to a Winger if there life depended on it.

Am I out in left field or do other folks see this too? a general acceptance if you are on 3?

I kinda agree, There are fringe element's in every group.. So when I encounter one I befuddle them with sarcasm.. Works like a charm...

I know 2 wheeled Harley guys that would not wave to a Winger if there life depended on it.

Fer cryin out loud, we all face the same dangers out there, but above all, we're all God's children! Those same guys might take themselves too seriously and might appreciate the 'other guy' when he comes along with that 1/2" wrench or spare 20 amp fuse at just the right time. Would you Wingers stop for a single Harley on the side of the road? I've sure stopped for a single Goldwing. The guy and his wife didn't need any help and I figured they didn't. But I just stopped to hopefully spread a little good will between the two groups. Mr. and Mrs. Wing were friendly and very appreciative.

I don't care what you're ridin, I'll stop.
