the news we were waiting on came back in our favor.
So Yellowstone and Sturgis are on for this summer:pepper:

Unless i change jobs:laugh:

That is great news. You're going to have a great time in both of those places. Yellowstone is on my bucket list.

Great news! We have been there in a cage..never on three wheels. I have the week of the rally off..but not quite enough time to do that trip...

Yellowstone is incredible, take your time or you will miss a lot of it, Cody, Wy is a great place to stay on the way, be sure and visit the Buffalo Bill museum. Sturgis.....em.........a half a day in Sturgis is plenty...but be sure and visit the Full Throttle Saloon, quite a show. The Badlands are really hot riding but scenic. Now to the great part, The Black Hills and Custer State park are FANTASTIC, the views, the wildlife and the hills and curves. Be sure and visit Mt. Rushmore and if you were in the military try to be there at night. This is one of our favorite spots in the U.S. and been there several times ( first time in 1974 riding with my late father ).

things to watch out for in Yellowstone:

rammed by a buffalo
have a good picture of the buffalo just before he hit the car but I cant get it to load on here. says its too big. (and he was!!)

trip to Yellowstone ---$1500.00
car repair ---------------$850.00
the looks on the faces of 2 grand children and the wife
(not to mention getting the stains out of the seats)
---------------------------PRICELESS!!

we kind of look at each other and smile when the state farm commercial comes on with the buffalo.

vacation memories to last a life time !
