Took two of the sons, the daughter-in-law and three grand daughters to the range on the 5th. We took turns with all the pistols and had a great time. Killed a lot of targets using up a bunch of ammo. One of the girls I've renamed Annie since it didn't matter what she was shooting or the distance to the target, she was dead on, and we had .380, 9mm, .357, and .45 calibers. If you're a gun enthusiast, it's and activity I recommend.

ThumbUp Me and my family including my wife, our kids and our grandkids have always got out to shoot together for years. It is always a good time!

And yes, I agree with Scott, you are doing an awesome job bringing your kids up right!

Not many things where everyone can participate but shooting sure is one. Ignorance of guns is proving to be crippling factor in this country. Good that you are teaching everyone something they'll keep with then for a long time.

I taught all my daughters to shoot when they reached the age of eleven. My second daughter is a competition shooter and in business with the renowned pistol smith(Richard Heinie). When they were young I was a line range instructor for Illinois Firearms training and had complete access to the indoor range. Those days are over, but all of us still enjoy remaining familiar with our weapons. Distances prevent frequent gatherings where all of us can still shoot together, but on the occasions we do it is always a target contest. It is true about becoming better than the teacher.

Sherry and I both belong to a private range and try to do some shooting whenever we can. We both own AR's,tactical shotguns, defensive & target pistols, and some lever action carbines.

My motto is, don't wait to get to know you weapon of choice and go practice. It is to late to practice when you need to be dead on. The wife and daughters are good shots. I started training the grandson to shoot when he was 10, and the 13 year old granddaughter has a new 22 rifle for her shooting club. Jim

My family and I get out to the range together whenever we can. Had to post this picture that my wife put together from our last trip. Notice the shirt, I can't help but wear it proudly. It's a little more relaxing this day and age knowing that they can protect themselves if necessary.
