Joe, that is amazing! I am really, really impressed. Can't wait to see the finished deal with paint and everything done. Too cool! :beerchug:

Too cool. Have you ridden her yet? How does she handle? Looks like you had some talented help to get the job done so fast.<img src="images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" class="inlineimg" />

</div>Not yet.........need to bleed the rear brakes...........then lookout!

It was a blast. Putting the kit together has some real satisfaction. And I know every nut and bolt on a first name basis.

Looks good Joe. Are you raking the front or is that all ready done? Nice to have great help.

Get out the brush and the RED paint and give her a nice coat on the rear 1/4 . Or do you plan to leave it GREY?????<LOL>:)

Thanks for posting all the pix in both this & the "waiting" thread. I'm getting ready to do the same thing to my Ultra with a Roadsmith kit. Though there'll be a few differences, your pix give me an idea of what to expect. RED is a NICE color, huh? A few differences there too -- mine has some black on it, but RED is the base color. I'm in that "waiting, waiting" stage now -- everything is on order, hoping the shipping date will be in a couple of weeks.

Congrats on the great choice of a kit. You will be amazed on how effortlessly it goes together.
My red will be House of Color Candy Red...can't wait. Was supposed to go to painters today..........but SNOW storm in Ill. stopped that idea. Also going with a ghosted in Dragon on the tank......I think. Will talk it over with the artist. Here's a rendition.

Cool dragon! I have some dragon decals around here somewhere. Had one on my metalic blue Sporty tank that looked really nice. Problem is it's a blue dragon & probably wouldn't look that good on red. What color pearl are you going to do the ghost effect?. I have a cobra done on the front faring in the black part with gold & silver pearl. The gold realy flips as you walk by -- sometimes it's a bright gold & sometimes it almost completely disappears. Wish the silver was as active. The gold looks great on the red too -- have some small skulls on the lower farings & rear of the saddlebags & again, the gold is pretty active. Origionaly, the Ultra had an orange pinstripe between the red & black. Had that replaced with a Celtic design that made a big difference in the way it looked. Plan to carry the same paint scheme over onto the trike using the stock "fire red pearl" & "vivid black". If you can find Lil' Pest's photo album on here, she has a pictire of the Ultra in origional paint. I hope to get down to the same spot that picture was taken for another "photo op" before doing the conversion so there will be before & after shots. Oh, good, she DID post a couple shots of the new grafix.

That gold sounds intriguing.............I kind of want it to disappear but still be there, if you know what I mean. Sorta have to look for it.
I'll see if I can find Lil' Pest's photos.

Joe I agree that paint does sound interesting. It would look good on your baby.

Lookin' good, Joe! Just one little tip -- there may come a point you're not sure you like what you're seeing. WAIT 'till the clearcoat is on! Clearcoat seems to bring everything together the way your mind's eye had it in the first place.

Thanks Nauga Mok..............I will definitely keep that in mind. Might have to make a trip down there to see progress in person and drop off some stuff I forgot to give the painter for final assembly.
