Hey Bill!

....I finally installed those pro-action shocks you and your wife recommended to us at that gas station near Fredricksburg, Tx. last year (around Octoberfest time I think it was)

....anyway, I recently installed the 14" Pro-action shocks with custom lifts kit.

....Dude, my wife and I owe ya'll a big fat "Thanks!"

...You were absolutely right about the improved ride over the stock Harley air shocks.

Be safe!

Glad ya like em Randy. Wish they had 14" when I got mine, just 13" at that time. Are you going to Deadwood for the Rally in July?

Hey Bill!

.....Oh, I didn't realize I was getting the newer version of these shocks and thought everybody was getting the 14" and the comfort lifts when I ordered them....turns out they are a newer version it seems...........as I stated in another post: I don't know if its the 14" shocks or that longer sweeping "comfort lifts", or BOTH combined (most likely) that gives the end result of the ride....but "Damn that's smooth!"....

before this change I had the standard lift kit and HD std air shocks....after the newer 14" combo kit was installed, the trike remained sitting at the exact same height in the rear as it did before.......meaning the extra 1" length in the shock shafts was exactly compensated with the extended length of the Comfort lifts.......

I don't know if you have the standard lifts or the comfort lifts on your trike.......in any case I bet your trike rides just fine with the 13"!!!!....As I have not tested another ride with the 13" Pro Action shocks, I cannot say if there is or is not any real difference in the ride. When I talked to the folks at DK Customs I was told the Comfort Lifts have become so popular that they aren't making the original standard lifts anymore.

............Unfortunately, we will be riding trike from Texas to Mt Rushmore to Sturgis (next to Deadwood) to Yellowstone in June and will not be able to get all the way back to Deadwood in July do to time restrictions (wifes' vacation schedule).....maybe next year for this'en!......we will have time to meet in other areas this year such as closer destinations will allow ...say maybe Arkansas or possibly Colorado, ect...........

Ride Safe!

I have the "comfort" lift. Well, maybe Kerrville in Sept or Oct, forget the dates from last year, but that is where we were coming from when we met you. You'll see it listed here later this year as Texas Hill Country. Ride safe see ya in Texas.

Hey Bill!

......Should certainly be able to make that scene in Texas Hill Country!

.........We've already been back there again for 3 days since we saw ya'll........................It's only a short 6 hr drive from our house.......just a fun place to ride in Texas.

..............Have learned Not to stay actually in Fredericksburg because the rooms are 3 times as expensive as any other rooms in surrounding towns.....Kerrville works nicely and is just a clean of a town......(only appx. 20 miles away from Fredericksburg which seems to be where most riding down there centers from).

..........well, as long as your using the Comfort Lifts with those 13" pro action shocks tuned properly (if needed), I am confident that ya'll are getting a fantastically smooth ride!!!!!....after all, your ride was definatelly good enough that you convinced "Me to wisely get'em!"

Be Safe!
