I'm Bill Anderson from Ponchatoula, Louisiana. My pride and joy is my daily driver, a BLACK 2001 V-Star 650 Custom named Belle Star. It was bone stock when I bought it in August of 2017, after being away from motorcycling for about 30 years. I have not been able to leave well enough alone and have lowered the rear, stretched the forks, shaved the rider's seat, trimmed the rear fender, added 8 inch TT-bars, classic mirrors, and an LED tail/turn/brake light strip under the rear lip.
Most recent modification was new tuned exhaust. I also removed all passenger accessories, as my bride of 30 years won't ride. My next enhancement, a pod and jet kit, just arrived and I will be installing it in a few days. I am very keen on transforming my Belle Star into a trike with a flat stake bed or small step-side bed. I'm looking forward to getting some great ideas and hopefully sharing the bit of knowledge I've acquired.
