telephone mount

Anybody recommend a good phone mount that won't break the bank and still hold the phone?

I'm not a phone guy, I just keep it in my pocket and when i stop for gas, Or food...And when i get to my destination then i look at it....It is a good idea to keep the phone on your body encase you should happen to get separated from your ride...

I agree 100% when around home but when up north in the Berkshires I want to use it for my GPS.

Agree, I got the one that mounts to the rearview mirror . Secure , and easy to see. :clapping:

I use the exact same thing that Pat uses.

Shop around though. I found mine a little cheaper than that on Amazon, I think.

The one I use is similar to the one above from Kuryakyn.

Love me the RAM mounts. I have them for drink holders I made for the Bubba bottles, the GPS and the phone holder. For some reason I never did quite trust the X-Mount, even with the rubber piece to keep things attached. I got the Quick Grip, phone is very secure. It goes on the handlebar mount on the bikes/trikes, and a RAM suction cup mount in the truck or Gloria's car. Here is a link to the Quick Grip, it also needs a ball on the back, and arm and a ball mount on a surface or the bars. https://www.rammount.com/part/RAM-HOL-PD3U

And a picture:

The newer ones come with little rubber covers for the top and bottom arms. I always have my phone in a case so I wouldn't use them.

While you are on the subject of Cellphones and GPS devices, everyone is talking about our government's ability to track our every move, but not what Google is doing with the information it collects from these devices.

I use the magnet mounts

I use 2 of them, the heads are stacked 1 above the other

On the back of my phone case I glued a thin piece of metal. The metal that came with the mounts was to small

I got a spatula from the dollar store and cut it to shape

So I have 2 of the magnet mounts holding one my 1 phone.

I have been over some very rough roads and it has never fallen

I'm surprised the magnets aren't causing problems with the phone or at the very least pictures on the phone. But maybe I'm over thinking what's going on between the phone and magnets.

I was worried about the same thing. But then I tried it. No issues at all. Now I have them on my trike and my car. My son and wife have magnetic holder also and it does not cause any issues for them either

Why would anyone believe what Tucker Carlson says?
