TC oil pump alignment

Check this out for oil pumps on Twin Cams, This should be done any time U open up the cam chest, and or you have high oil leaks

Use on Twin Cam 1999 - Present

Use this tool to correctly align the oil pump to the cam plate on Twin Cam models.

Refer to Harley-Davidson® service manual for proper oil pump installation.

1. When securing the oil pump to the cam support plate, install two

alignment tools through the cam support plate and into the oil pump

mounting holes. The self centering screws will align the remaining,

oil pump holes.

2. Secure two OEMallen screws to the unoccupied oil pump mounting

holes and torque to Harley-Davidson® manual.

3. Replace the alignment tools with the remaining OEM hardware and

torque to Harley-Davidson® specifications.

Made a set of tapered screws years ago to align the lifter blocks on evos made them from shoulder screws,turned a taper on the O.D. Just so happens they work on the twin cam oil pump and cam plate.

GOOD JOB, I Made some from old taps, It took alot of grinding, but I got it

We knew this back in the Evo days, I think it would have worked on Pans and Shovels too, But those engines were more forgiving LOL
