In about 12 hours I will be getting my first tattoo. I am almost 63 yrs old. I am getting a tattoo that will cover most of my right outer forearm. Excited but nervous too, I’m a wuss with needles. Can’t even watch when I have blood drawn.

Anyways, this will be an interesting day for sure.

I have one on my Right arm............Say's Ron's heating & plumbing service, with a picture of me kneeling in front of a heating boiler..

That was my life for 38 years...............********* heating & plumbing************

I got my first tattoo when I was in my fifties. Upper shoulder so it would not be seen when wearing normal shirts. Being a bit old fashioned, I think that discretion is the best and put them where only the people you want to see them can.

I got my one and only tattoo in Dec. 1964 in Milwaukee, Wis. Shop's name Dietzel & Thomas. It has faded out so only half of the colors are there and the black outline looks like someone used a 2 year old Sharpie to make it. Cost $5.00. If I had to do it over I would say "NO THANKS".

Good thing tattoo technology has come a long way in the past half century ;)

Good morning, sorry I have not been active this weekend but life happens. Anyways, I got the tattoo and it wasn't as painful as I thought it would be. It took about 5 hrs with 3 breaks so I think that was the hardest part. I am pleased with it and so far I think it is healing well. Here are some pics -
