The three back tires will be half way out on the tailgate, will it hold the weight? Sorry for being so detailed just don't want to get into a jam thanks mike
With the Plywood yes......And the Plywood is really strong stuff , Why its even the Florida state Tree.....
Ive had heavy quads on my Rams tail gate [6.5 also] without any plywood, Many times without any problems...You'll be ok....
I almost forgot, Make sure you strap it down so the trike doesn't roll forward, And bend the bed rail or brake the rear window... Seen that happen more than once...
