I want to change my taillights from the stock red

To a smoke color lens 2017 t/g

as I'm changing out a lot of chrome to black but I'm having trouble finding A plug and play replacement mostly every thing looks like it has to be rewired and has a license plate light also

I thought about led but some of those may need

A module or something to stop flickering

Any help would be appreciated

I've been looking at Bright Ass Lights Smoked LED Tail Lights w/o the License Plate Light. They have Tri Glide Kits (with two lights) that can be bought with 4-LED's or 12-LED's per light. I'm still on the fence, as the 4-LED Kit is $349.95 and the 12-LED Kit is $750+. Maybe next spring or over the winter if a good discount can be had, but would like to see the brightness of the 4-LED ones before jumping off the fence.

Forgot to add that they say their lights are Fully BCM (Body Control Module) & CAN-BUS compatible for the new model's electrical systems. Easily installed in just a couple minutes with only two screws each.

Hopefully, others will weigh in with more choices.

I put the custom dynamics tail lights on my 20 Tri Plug and play and much brighter than stock. Rivals the BAL lights for much less $$$$. I am completely satisfied with them. I replaced the front turn signals with Custom dynamics too. White until you turn on the signal, then they go yellow. Just a little more white light and different pattern for the cagers to see. Thrown light on the edge of the road too.

Thanks!

My interest in smoke lens is primarily for appearance purposes. But would like the brightest, most compatible and an all in one package, at an affordable cost. If they're equal to or slightly better than stock brightness, then it's a win-win for me.

I also have DK's Tour-Pak Filler Light w/Run-Brake-Turn LED's... its run lights are brite, and its blinkers and turn signals are VERY brite...so I'm highly visible from the rear.

I have a set of BAL's I dont use anymore since I traded in the TRI 5 years ago. And they are bright and can be adjusted for brightness and functions.

Just could not tell you what MY's they work on. I had a 2010 TRI at the time.

The OP might be buying soon.....but my trike spending budget has my funds locked in to buy the DK Oil Cooler next. So for smoked tails, I'm looking at after Christmas time, with the hope of deep discounts being available.
