T tree angle

I like the 4.5 degree best for both stability and ease of steering. ThumbUp

I have a 3 on my Roadsmith, if and when I do it over I will go with 4.5. It handles well, but I think it could be a bit smoother, I have in my hands a superbrace which I will add this Friday, to see how that may help.

Roadsmith recommends thier 3 with their 1500 kit, but I would love to see how a 4.5 Champion would work on a Roadsmith 1500 kit.

Have a 6* on mine. Haven't ever road a different tree so can't say which is better.

The VTXs are a different animal when it comes to rake kits. They have a different stock rake and do best with a 6 degree...there is even an 8 degree for the VTXs. The manufacturer that builds our VTX trees doesnt even offer anything less than 6 degrees. On the Goldwings and Harleys, Id go with a 4.5.
