Sunday wife and I rode to the Pacific Ocean for a grease burger at this dumpy little diner on the Marina in Ventura. Weather was glorius, T-shirt riding. Unfortunately premium gas out west is $4.20 a gallon. Thank you Gov. Jerry Brown for some of the highest gas taxes in the country.

I never thought I'll own a Harley, After 40+ years on Japaneses bikes i decided to buy a Trike, At the time the only factory Trike was the Canam spyder.
So i bought one and what a mistake that was. Never knew when or were it was going to leave me stranded, and setting for weeks waiting for parts.
So one day i had enough, And stopped by a Harley dealer, Took one of their demo's for a short ride [5miles] bought a new one the next day, 21 thousand miles and still smiling.. ThumbUp

WOW, a little putt with wife this afternoon and several stations had Reg listed at 2.99.
I do not think I will ever get how they price gas, must have a given right to steal from us when they want and then drop price and tease us.

I would have bought a proven/low mileage u/c & installed a Frankenstein kit, I have had few problems with my '09 t/g . but I think the Frankenstein kit is a better way to go. its better made & more options. the S&S gear cam was the best thing I,ve done to it for performance.& the lift kit& wind deflectors for sure . I went to FL down a Miami dade to get gorilla,s 2013 ,103 eng.
for 2500.00 .just in case I ever get enough miles on it to swap it out. & I can hop-it up while I,m waiting. too. thanks gorilla, hows that 110 in your pretty blue trike? in case the traffic hasn't inproved in the last 14 years.

The 110 is going just fine. I will be getting it dynoed in a couple of weeks. I really like the new Tri-Glide.

Three steps forward, Two back, That way you get used to thinking 3 dollars a gal is cheep..... But to be the Devils Advocate, You can't put all the blame on the oil Company's. Tax and more Tax is a big part of the price, And not just whats posted on the pumps, There is a transport tax on every gal while it's in the tanker truck, Before it even gets to the pumps... Among other taxes...

Might be true, but who do you blame for the oil companies taking the fracked oil from the USA that only costs around $40+ a brl and selling it on the world market, then buying the $100+ a brl for the use here in the USA ???
I call it ripping people in the USA off !
But it is legal,,,,,,,, just not moral !
