Still Smilin'

After two months of educating myself on trike kits, talking to members on this board, test driving different kits and talking to reps and installers, I finally jumped into the deep end and purchased a 2013 Silver Hannigan trike from the good folks at Honda of Russellville.
I took delivery on May 4th in a steady rain and 48 degree temperatures (kudos to Honda for the heated grips and seat) and headed south on scenic route 7 through the Ouachita National Forest to Hot Springs, Arkansas. My triking experience, to this point, had been limited to test rides of the various kits on the flatlands of Florida. After about 20 miles, I started to develop a resemblance of triking technique through the twisties. The wet roads added to the challenge.
After two days and 667 miles, I pulled into my garage with the same silly grin that I started with.
I am starting to fully understand the lure of triking.
See you down the road.

PS I was unable to post any photos because my file size is too big and I am not computer savvy enough to know how to get around that problem.

PSS: Thanks to Hogeater for helping with the photo uploads

Wow, sounds like quite a start with your new trike between the mileage and the rain. Glad all is well and and your "silly grin" remains in place.

Posting pictures can be a challenge. Start HERE with Nana's excellent picture posting instructions.

Suggest you Google "Shrink Pic". This handy little program will automatically reduce your file size for use on the web. For instance, if I wish to insert a picture in my email, I simply browse for the picture file and hit Enter. Shrink Pic resizes the file size to fit within the parameters of the email program.

Won't work within TrikeTalk directly as TT wants a URL, so send it to yourself and save the reduced size pic for future use.
