still new at this

Now you are starting to sound like the rest of us, Joe :).
So happy to hear you are feeling comfortable with the trike! By Spring (when many of us will be riding again) you'll be ready to lead the group!!!!

You're a better man than I am, Joe.... I don't ride in this weather! I get tooooooooo cold! LOL! But if you can handle it, more power to you. :D

Sure sure Sure Key Largo Back and forth back and forth No left or right turns or you get wet <LOL>:D You got a lot of twisty down there do you?

Nana -- there is such a thing as heated gear! I got a heated jacket liner that's probably not going to see any use 'till next winter. By the time I get back on the road, warm weather will be back -- I HOPE. Watch the online outlets -- they have some nice monthly specials. I got my liner for about half what Harley gets for it.

HEY JOHN no twisties but the view is GREAT of the ocean and gulf. Never get tired of that. I ride to the Blue Ridge for the twisties once or twice a year. You can't have everything it would get boring. Not saying you can't wish it though.

Saw a shirt when we were at Deal' Gap a few years ago:

US 129 - 318 curves in 11 miles.
Fla 129 -11 curves in 318 miles.

When you get right down to it, any riding is good riding.:D

It should have said FLA 129 11 slight bends in 318 miles.
When I went to KAN to visit my friend he told me to take a left at the 2nd Traffic light and go about 2 miles to his house . He didn't say it was 100 miles to the first light and 50 to the second .I was driving no hands at 80 MPH drinking a soda and eating chips & Holding the wheel straight with my knee. except for the DARN Grain elevators . Why do you go around them ? Couldn't they just move them back 50 feet? :p
