Stallion Hood piston lifts

All, The two piston lifts that assist the hood going up and down. Is there a part number for them or, is there a generic part out there somewhere. The left piston on my Stallion seems to be coming off and I need to replace it.

Had a similar problem with the Can Am. Ended up at Pep Boys with the piston for size, then messed around with several to select a strength. Admittedly got lucky on the first try as to strength. Worked fine. Have you tried contacting Motor Trike?

Most support struts have the part information printed on the body of them. You may not have a lot of local with a local parts store (autozone, oreilly, etc for the obvious reasons) unless it's a Napa since they seem to actually have a clue.

Most times you can find parts like that listed online via google and can sometimes even find a "common" crossover part # to use locally.
