Anyone got carpet in your Stallion?

Is it from the factory or DIY or from a dealer (which dealer)?

Just laid in loose or how is it affixed to the floor?

I know of one dealer that knows a guy who makes carpet sets for Stallions, just wondering what other people have done.

A few years ago, I made some templates from poster board, then cut the carpets out from them. Two different carpets on each side of the floor.

The actual carpet material was inexpensive, but I took the carpets I cut out to a place that did the binding around the edge. They charge by the inch.

I think I ended up spending about $60. on the entire project. Now, those carpets are showing their age and I need to update them. I am thinking about doing basically the same thing but using marine carpet. I am looking for another route instead of doing the binding. Hope this helps.

Did you just lay the carpet pieces in loose or did you affix them to the floor...and if so, how?

stallion carpets

They must be secured some way. I used Velcro. I would not recommend using the dual lock Velcro. On the left side you need a good size Velcro patch due to the twisting action of your foot when boarding. Also, I would not use carpet with rubber backing or carpet with a bright color as it will fade rapidly in the sun. trikermarc@gmail.com if you have any questions.

I have marine carpet in mine with spray adhesive, pulls up easy when needed to replace, and another set that i lay on top for shows ect. saves on a lot of cleaning ect.
