Freer breathing air cleaner kit, EMC recalibration that ups the red line to 62 hundred rpms.
I had that done to my 11 T/G over 23 thousand miles ago worth every penny..ThumbUp

Gonna have to disagree with the previous poster. He is correct as to what a stage 1 kit is from the Dealer, but the ECM recal is a TOTAL waste of coin. It does raise the rev limit to 6200, but it does NOT change the AFR one whit. It slightly alters the tuning. You would be much better served taking that $150 the Dealer is gonna want to charge you for the download and get a TTS Mastertune and get a real tune on the bike. Performance will be better, you'll learn a lot about your bike, and you will have control over a lot of functions most want but don't have.

:Agree: I wouldn't waste the money on a dealer download. I'd also tune it with the TTS. The other question is does the OP still have an extended warranty which is still in play, fiddling with the head pipe and tune might jeopardize it.

Iam not a authority on stage 1 upgrade but I guess my question is did dealer spell out what was in the upgrade.
If not you need to find out goin in exactly what they would be doing and why they were doing it.
They may want to sell you there tuner .

There is a wealth of knowledge here, find answers to all your questions before moving forward .
Good Luck

It is my understanding the Dealer ECM download is only a 5% fuel enrichment to address the A/C and exhaust upgrade, and the 5% additional fuel is across the board and the AFR will remain approximately at the OEM of 14.7:1, which in my estimation is too lean!!

I have (on various bikes in the past) installed/used the V&H Fuel Pack, SEPST, Power Commander PCIII, and currently have the Dynojet Power Vision w/Auto Tune module on my 2013 Trike. This tuner in my opinion is the best tuner I have ever had and very easy to do an Auto Tune session without a computer. Although the SEPST and the TTS are great Tuners as well, I do not like the way you have to collect the auto tune data and then download to a computer prior to installing the auto tune map. With the Power Vision, while riding you can see the cell you are working on as you ride and can adjust your riding to fill as many cells as needed for a correct tune.

Sorry for the long post, and no I do not work for Dynojet!! Although I do also have this tuner on my 2013 V-Rod Muscle!!!

Good luck with whatever you decide to do with the tune!!

A Dealership I trust quite a bit did dyno runs on a bike before and after the ECM download. They showed zero change to the AFR table from before and after. As I stated before, the download changes the rev limit, slightly retards timing, and does nothing at all to the AFR table.

It adds additional fuel to MAINTAIN the OEM of 14.7:1 as previously stated, so the AFR would not change on the graph!!

Last word on this from me!!!

If you want a nice setup that includes a catless header I would highly recommend Fullsac. They provide a full kit which includes the TTS Master Tune and EFI map. Runs about $1200. I installed this on my last two CVO Ultras. Could not have been happier. Bikes ran well and heat was reduced. I see they also offer a Trike kit too.

Just a recommendation that I believe would cover all you are looking for.

Jerry
