I have an 08 Stallion #159 and the miles per hour does not always read right, sometimes when I am going 40mph it will read 60mph and other times when doing 60 it will read 40 then sometimes when going 40 it will read 10. Most of the time it reads right. It could be either the head or a speed sensor.
I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and might be able to save me some diag. time. Thanks Darrell

There was a post sometime back concerning a speedometer problem. Seems that it was erratic as you stated. You might do a search and see if you can locate the post.

I had the same problem. I forget the procedure but a call to TMS and they can tell you.
I think it was hold in the trip meter button and while holding it in turn the key off then back on, the needle will go all the way over and back and reset. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the quick response. I do use a GPS all the time to keep track of what I am doing. I am headed out on a week long trip to Yellowstone so when we get back I will check it out and get it repaired. Thanks again Darrell
